7 DAY BENDER

Driving guitar riffs and rib shattering drums are the main exports of the rock 'n' roll extravaganzathon that is 7 Day Bender. Songs about true life experiences as well as dive bar fantasy, the boys deliver a full on assault of punk influenced rock that drives you wild while keeping you focused on what you paid for. Self described as Zeke and Motorhead's lovechild who started a Guns 'n' Roses cover band, 7 Day Bender shows creativity that lacks mystery and ambiance, but who needs that? A band fueled by cheap beer, cigarettes and an addiction to rock 'n' roll has no time for anything but the three. A certain aura of swagger surrounds them, and they have the skills to back it up.  With a brand new demo available on original hard copy as well as online 7 Day Bender has made it clear this rock n' roll powerhouse is here to stay. Follow them on facebook!!!

KID PA REVIEW

All three members of this punk rock trio from Lancaster/Harrisburg area were once band members of Superbuick. After Superbuick ended, Steve(drums) and Tommy(Bass/vocals) decided they wanted to form a band playing the music that they both loved and grew up on.  After a year of searching the guys recruited Bruce, Steve's brother, as the final member.  Their sound is derived mostly from 1980′s LA hardcore. But its been a long time since the days hardcore punk the guy simply refer to their music as good ol' fashioned punk rock.
All three of the band members are also heavily influenced by skateboarding, which has always played a large roll in the punk community. Their favorite stuff musically has always been fast and melodic, with heavy influences from legends such as NOFX, Minor Threat, Bad Religion, 7 seconds, FOD, D.I., Black Flag, Operation Ivy, Rancid, Green Day, RKL…you get the idea. They have opened for such bands as D.I. and The Queers. Be sure to check them out on facebook, and at this years 4G

Last Scene In Reno Review

This Fridays '4G Band Review' is about four musicians who are no strangers to the music scene and stage life.  Lancaster's own Last Scene in Reno is a band that has been on an upward journey since debuting this past summer at the Stahr Center along with friends and future tour mates, The RIOT.  Consisting of Curt Tran (bass), Matt Murr(guitar and vocals), Dave T.(guitar and vocals) and Ryan Masters(drums), LSIR backs their catchy harmonies and intricate guitar riffs with plenty of energy as well as a bit of on stage humor.  LSIR is currently in the studio writing and tracking songs for the release of their first album set to release mid-February.  They have already released two songs that are now available for download.

With views of a national tour in sight and plenty of shows until then, LSIR doesn't have any plan to stop spreading their music anytime soon.  With influences like Blink-182, New Found Glory, and Taking Back Sunday, LSIR brings a much needed change in flavor to the music scene in our area and more cities to come.
